S I Sealy makes a series of promotions
S I Sealy is proud to announce the promotion of four team members in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the company’s continued success over the past year.
Simon Ward has been promoted to Principal Electrical Engineer, Marcin Kruk to Principal Mechanical Engineer, Wesley Hilton-Gani to Senior Mechanical Engineer, and Darren Sloan to Senior Electrical Engineer.
Simon Ward has been promoted to Principal Electrical Engineer in recognition of his continued technical development, leadership, and contribution to the growth of the business. Simon joined S I Sealy in 2021 as an Assistant Electrical Engineer and quickly progressed to Engineer later that same year and is currently studying towards his degree in Building Services Engineering at Liverpool University. More recently, he has taken on responsibility for managing complex electrical designs at North Manchester General Hospital, leading on the refurbishment of the Grade II Listed Accrington Market and Burton Chambers and developing a new service offering focused on monitoring energy usage across client sites.
Marcin Kruk has been promoted to Principal Mechanical Engineer following his delivery of several complex mechanical design projects and his continued support of colleagues across the business. Since joining S I Sealy in 2023 and progressing to Mechanical Engineer in 2024, Marcin has demonstrated exceptional technical capability, attention to detail, and leadership. His recent work includes the successful delivery of the Trafford General Hospital Operating Theatres 12 and 14 project and working closely with the Net Zero UK team on the Public Sector Decarbonisation project for Salford City Council. Alongside project delivery, Marcin plays an important role in supporting and guiding others within the business and will continue to support the development of the wider mechanical engineering team and strengthen the company’s expertise.
Wesley Hilton-Gani has been promoted to Senior Mechanical Engineer. Over the past year, Wesley has taken on increased responsibility across a diverse portfolio of projects, consistently demonstrating his commitment and passion for mechanical engineering. Notable projects include the delivery of the 11,400 sq ft Electrical Shuffle project in Manchester, as well the refurbishment of existing theatres and recovery department at Trafford General Hospital. Wesley is also dedicated to his continuous professional development and is currently studying towards an MSc in Building Services with Sustainable Energy at Brunel University, with the support of the business.
Darren Sloan has been promoted to Senior Electrical Engineer in recognition of extensive practical knowledge and experience he brings to the business. Darren has worked across a range of complex healthcare projects, including hospital ward refurbishments, operating theatre installations, and large new-build developments. He is currently leading the team on the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) project at Gorton Community Hub, which includes the creation of dedicated ultrasound and ophthalmology diagnostic suites alongside expanded diagnostic services for the local community.
