About Us

S I Sealy & Associates is an established building services engineering consultancy with a strong reputation across a broad range of sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, residential, leisure and public sector projects. We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead projects and mentor developing engineers.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the technical delivery of mechanical building services designs, client liaison and project management across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of HVAC, heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
• Produce and review calculations, reports and specifications.
• Manage project programmes and design deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Attend client meetings and represent the company professionally.
• Mentor Assistant and Intermediate Engineers.
• Support quality assurance in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 19650 processes.

What We Are Looking For

• Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant UK consultancy experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services design.
• Experience delivering projects through RIBA Stages 2 to 4.
• Healthcare experience and knowledge of relevant HTM guidance are advantageous.
• Experience using Revit and BIM workflows.
• Chartered, or working towards Chartered status.
