Building Energy Modeller/Sustainability Engineer

We are the current CIBSE Employer of the Year (2019/2020 SME), previous HVR Consultancy of the Year and specialise in Building Information Modelling (REVIT), digital design engineering (MagiCAD MEP) and sustainable building services design through Building & Energy Modelling (EDSL-TAS). We are the largest single office of specialist building services engineers in the North West and employ over 25 building services design engineers, modellers and REVIT technicians.
The Company is one of the leading practices in the North West, and currently enjoy positions on over 20 regional and National consultancy frameworks, including; Parliamentary Estates Directorate (Houses of Parliament), SBS (National framework for NHS Trusts), BBC Corporation, Construction Impact Framework (CIF), NEPO, PAGABO, Fusion 21, Trafford Council and the Girls’ Day School Trust.
We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Energy Modeller/Sustainability Engineer to join our large and expanding team to work on a diverse range of projects across all sectors, both locally and nationally.
The successful candidate will have several years’ experience in the Non-Domestic Building Energy Modelling field. The Successful candidate must have experience using EDSL TAS modelling software and be working towards or qualified to LCC and LCEA standard. OCDEA qualification to provide On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor services will also be advantageous, a willingness to work towards obtaining the qualification is essential.
The Candidate will work alongside the senior team of engineers on large projects to form a vital part of the Building Design process, providing amongst other things, Sustainability Reports, BRUKL documentation, Climate Base Daylight Reports, TM52 “Overheating” reports and projected energy use reports.
Experience with EDSL-TAS is essential and experience with REVIT and MagiCAD will be advantageous, but not essential.
