Think Low Carbon Centre shortlisted for Award

Barnsley College’s Think Low Carbon Centre was shortlisted for the CIBSE Under £5million Project of the Year. The CIBSE Building Performance Awards which will be announced on 8th February 2013, will celebrate excellence in sustainable and aspirational buildings.

S I Sealy provided the mechanical and electrical engineering feasibility and concept design, together with BREEAM assessment for this highly sustainable, BREEAM “Excellent” building.  The Centre includes a visitors’ centre, classrooms and workshops, together with a large central plant space designed to be accessible to the students for study purposes.
