Stockport based building services design engineers S I Sealy & Associates, have welcomed into their team, two new apprentices, Alex Hill and Andrew Hodgson.
Alex and Andrew will be undertaking an apprenticeship which will be provided by Trafford College. The apprenticeship itself is an Advanced NVQ3/4 in Building Services Design.
The apprenticeship course is linked with John Moores University which allows Alex and Andrew, if successful in their four year apprenticeship, to enrol onto the BEng (Hons) degree course.
When asked about his apprenticeship, Alex commented: “This apprenticeship is a great opportunity for me. It allows me to gain experience, at the same time as working towards a qualification. I am really looking forward to my time here at S I Sealy.”
Andrew Hodgson also commented: “I wanted to get into the workplace and learn on the job. S I Sealy has a great reputation in the industry, and I’m really proud to be working here”
David Stafford, Director at S I Sealy & Associates, commented: “S I Sealy is enjoying a period of real growth, and we have been recruiting at all levels. We have a strong tradition of investing time and money in the training of new engineers; and so we are really pleased to be able to take on two apprentices, and welcome Alex and Andrew to our company.”
