S I Sealy Shortlisted for Organisation of the Year at the Unlock Net Zero Awards 2026
S I Sealy has been shortlisted for Organisation of the Year – Consultancy/Service at the Unlock Net Zero Awards 2026. Our shortlisting reflects both the impact of the projects we deliver and our ongoing commitment to reducing carbon emissions within our own operations as a verified carbon-neutral organisation.
Among standout projects is the design of the new 72-bed Benabo Court in London, where S I Sealy and our sustainability division, Net Zero UK, delivered comprehensive sustainability engineering services. The project adopted a fabric-first approach alongside renewable and low-carbon technologies, including Air Source Heat Pumps, enhanced ventilation systems and solar PV. As a result, the development is expected to achieve an 80% reduction in operational carbon emissions within residential areas and a total building embodied carbon reduction of 59%, significantly improving on the client benchmark.
Another landmark project includes the completion of Water Meadow View, an inpatient unit for Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. Acting as MEP Engineers, Sustainability Engineers and NHS Net Zero Coordinators, our team helped deliver an innovative, low-carbon healthcare facility incorporating renewable energy technologies, advanced thermal modelling and energy-efficient building design to support the Trust’s long-term sustainability ambitions.
Daniel Madden, Managing Director, commented, “Being shortlisted for the Unlock Net Zero Awards reflects the hard work, innovation and commitment of our entire team. Sustainability is embedded throughout our business, from being a PAS 2060 certified net zero carbon business to all the low carbon projects that we deliver. We are proud to support our clients in delivering ambitious, environmentally responsible projects that create long-term positive impact across the built environment.”
The winners will be announced at the Unlock Net Zero Awards ceremony on 23 June at Manchester Central.
