The Strand, Rochdale

The project comprises of the construction of the demolition of three existing residential and retail buildings and the construction of new residential and retail blocks and a community facility hub together with extensive external works and public realm works.

The project was undertaken in two phases.  The three storey residential and retail blocks consist of 16 apartments and 6 shops.  There are also communal areas/lounges, a cafe, a training kitchen, waiting area, offices, individual apartments and an energy centre.

We developed the brief and oversaw the design and build of the new development. The new 3 storey community centre serves the local community of Rochdale.
