SciTech Building, Stoke-on-Trent

North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust engaged S I Sealy to advise them on the move of their Headquarters from Bucknall Hospital to the SciTech Building, Trentham Lakes Industrial park.  We provided the detailed designs for the refurbishment of the SciTech Building.  The move included the Trust’s IT department and systems.

We fully designed the new data centre, including UPS, generator back-up and an eco-friendly air conditioning system.  The existing incoming electrical supply to the building was utilised and modified to individually accommodate the new data centre and the rest of the building.

We produced a detailed programme of works to ensure taht there was no disruption to the IT infrastructure which is critical to the Trust’s day to day activities.
