Flight Club, Cardiff

Located on St Mary’s Street in Cardiff, this Flight Club is the 10th to open in the UK and the 8^th with MEP services designed by S I Sealy. The impressive four-storey venue features a bar, dining area, 13 oche, and a 4,000 sq ft rooftop terrace with a forest-themed covered seating area.

Our team was responsible for the detailed design, thermal comfort assessment, and site monitoring of the MEP installation and fit-out. The design incorporates mechanical services such as heating, cooling, ventilation, domestic water supply, and drainage to ensure a fully functional venue. Additionally, we designed the specialist kitchen supply and extract ductwork, using carbon filters, ESP filters, and UV light to eliminate pollutants and odours from the extracted air.

The MEP services are featured prominently in the front of house, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the building. The electrical design incorporates CAT 6 structured cabling to manage the high volume of data, along with specialised oche wiring to support the dart vision system and high-speed cameras. These areas utilise the data network for tournament technology that can connect up to 120 players within the venue.
