Elizabeth Tower Shortlisted for RIBA London Award
The restoration of the Elizabeth Tower, home to the iconic Big Ben clock, has been shortlisted for the prestigious RIBA London Award 2025.
This multi-million-pound project, which is a vital part of the ongoing restoration efforts for the Houses of Parliament, has been recognised for its exceptional contribution to architectural heritage. The RIBA London Award celebrates outstanding new and refurbished buildings within the London region and is a part of the broader RIBA Awards, which honours architectural excellence across the UK.
This restoration project required careful planning and execution to preserve the historical significance of the Elizabeth Tower while incorporating modern conservation techniques, with key elements including our delivery of fabric protection heating and the complete upgrade and replacement of the iconic clock-face lighting.
Being recognised by RIBA is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in the project. We are incredibly proud to be part of its delivery and look forward to the upcoming awards, which will be held on Tuesday 13th May at the Royal Institute of British Architects.
