The Co-Operative Group achieves highest ever BREEAM Rating

The Co-Operative Group’s new Headquarters at 1 Angel Square, Manchester has been awarded a BREEAM “Outstanding” Rating, with the highest BREEAM score ever achieved.  S I Sealy is delighted as we provided the detailed mechanical and electrical design for this innovative building.  The building includes: PPO Tri-generation CHP; mixed mode ventilation; maximised daylight; water cooled chillers with condensing circuit heat recovery; absorption cooling; double skin facade with heat recovery; passive chilled beams; large central atrium with heat recovery; hydrocarbon chillers; and fully integrated BMS.
