RSPCA Regional Headquarters – Newbrook Farm

S I Sealy has been engaged not only for the full duties in designing the new Facility but to analyse the anticipated fuel and power loads for the RSPCA’s new Northwest Regional Headquarters, whilst undertaking a feasibility study of low and zero carbon technologies.

The final Design incorporates a number of sustainable solutions including air source heat pumps, rain and grey water recycling, solar generation of hot water, passive ventilation, and reed bed micro organism technology.

Due to its location an on-site Generator is to be designed to cover for the breaks in supplies.

The site is approximately 16,000m² and situated in a rural location where electricity is unreliable, the water mains are limited to the area and there is no local Gas infrastructure. The Scheme will contain 14 buildings in the surrounding farmland. The buildings will include:

Animal Centre Reception – a 2 storey building with main reception and offices
Animal Hospital – a 2 storey building with the animal hospital, associated treatment, consultation and ancillary rooms
