Addenbrooke Hospital, EVAR Theatres, Cambridge

We provided the detailed M&E design for this new three storey changing facility to accommodate the two new EVAR theatres within Addenbrooke Hospital.

The new facility was designed to cater for both male and female staff and includes full changing facilities and gowning areas. The building is connected to the hospital on three levels through four separate links which involved detailed design and intricate coordination.

The building includes a full BMS trend system, with a new plantroom to house a dedicated AHU to feed all three floors. Mechanical ventilation and radiant heating panels provide full temperature control. The building is fully compliant with the latest HTM/HBN codes and full Building Control Compliance was achieved on behalf of the Trust.
