Adrian Bill

Adrian has over 20 years’ experience of building services design in a wide variety of sectors, including commercial, government, defence, health and leisure. He has a Building Services Engineering Degree which he obtained in 1990. He is an Affiliate Grade member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.

Adrian is fully trained in and familiar with all relevant Hevacomp design programmes. He has particular experience in providing low energy design solutions to buildings. His most recent projects includes The Co-operative Group Headquarters which is a BREEAM “Outstanding” building with a carbon footprint of minus75KgCO2/m2/per annum. The building included pure plant oil fired CHP units and absorption and prosaic chiller plant with low energy cooling via cooling towers and energy recovery coils in the main supply air plant. Adrian was also the lead Mechanical Engineer on the Welsh Assembly Government Headquarters building in Llandudno Junction. This was a BREEAM “Excellent” building which includes maximisation of natural daylight, natural ventilation, night cooling, biomass boiler plant, rainwater harvesting, pond water cooling, passive cooling, ammonia chiller and auto solar shading.
